Kenttälampi Wilderness Centre

The Kenttälampi Wilderness Centre is  situated 75 km north from the Salla centre at the Naruska area. It offers excellent surroundins for snowmobile, ATV, fishing, hunting and hiking safaris. The KWC can also be used for family gatherings and parties, business meetings etc. The centre can be accessed by car all year round.

The centre has 11 rooms. Ten of them has two bunk beds in each room and the last room has beds for three persons. There are also a fully equipped kitchen, a big common room, three indoor toilets, indoor sauna with shower room, telephone and an outdoor sauna. Outside is also a Lappish hut where it is possible the spend the evening in cosy athmosphere around the fireplace.

The cottage is surrounded by uncut forest and occasionally reindeers can pop into the cottage yard for a visit. The KWC situates about five km from the Russian border and provides a total break from the hectic city life. The surrounding nature and landscapes charm the visitor both in the summer and in the winter. The midsummer sun and northern lights amazes everyone every time not forgetting the bright autumn colours. From the top of the nearby fells the visitor has a good view to the surrounding areas and even to the Russian side.
